Treatment Planning
The number of sessions and type of therapy will be guided by clinical need and rationale and will vary depending on numerous factors such as complexity and willingness of the client. Every four sessions, the therapist and service user will review the progress made and evaluate the need for more sessions.
Payment
The cost of sessions will be discussed prior to first session. An invoice will be sent at agreed intervals throughout therapy, and payment should be made before the next arranged appointment. If two or more sessions are completed, but have not been paid for, therapy will be discontinued. Refunds are not available for sessions that have been completed. If a session has been paid for, but not completed, a partial refund may be offered and is at the therapist's discretion.
Feedback and Complaints
You will be frequently given the opportunity to provide feedback within therapy sessions. You can provide constructive feedback at any time to your therapist. If you wish to make a complaint, please consult the BABCP's complaints procedure.
Emergencies
If, throughout the therapy process you feel as though you may be at risk to yourself or others, you must contact your GP and/or emergency services.
Your therapist may be unable to respond to messages immediately. If you leave a message, your therapist will endeavor to contact you at the earliest opportunity, however this may take 1-2 working days.
